ME!
Welcome to my college e-portfolio! My name is Paris Parker, I am a rising sophomore at the University of Michigan, majoring in communication studies. I chose communications because I have always had a passion for writing, but I never imagined myself to only be a writer. I hope in the future to use my writing and creativity to create inspiring media for other people to use. For now, I want to create content for myself and hope that others appreciate it as much as I do! Throughout my e-portfolio, I will share some of my creative visions. Some things that I want for my future, I have to prepare and create now. I want to share small projects that have the potential to be something better in due time.

ARTIFACTS
To the right is an essay I wrote in my English 125 course. I am proud of this essay because it showcases my style of writing, but also is written about something I care about a lot. This piece is an open letter to Black people everywhere. I hope to one day expand on this piece and write more like it. One day this piece and more will be published in a book written by me.
One of my goals for the future is to be in front of the camera, but lately, I've been working behind one. Since I know that I want to work with social media, I decided to try other areas of creativity other than writing. Below are a few pictures that I have taken and fallen in love with. Over time, I would like to develop my photography & videography skills. And use these skills for my future blog, Youtube, and social media platforms.
